It was a shock when McMahon brought Shawn Michaels as a commisioner. Nobody would expect McMahon to pick him, after all the abuse HBK has put him through. HBK scheduled his first match between X-Pac and The Rock for the WWF championship title.
He was caught talking with Vince McMahon later on that night. Telling McMahon to "trust him". He was also seen talking with D-X.
At the match, HBK double-crossed D-X. Coming up behind X-Pac and hitting him with a chair. In the end HBK, Shane, Vince & the Rock were crotch chopping the world.
